At Percy Road, near Winchmore Hill station, North London, we delivered a comprehensive aluminium window and door installation, designed to enhance both the aesthetic and performance of this residential property. The project focused on supplying and fitting high-quality AluK aluminium window systems and a robust armoured front door, all finished in a sleek anthracite grey (RAL 7016) for a cohesive, modern look.

The installation included seven window elements, each combining a side-hung sash with a top-hung sash. All units were manufactured using the AluK GB AW 614 profile, known for its energy efficiency, slim sightlines, and structural durability. Each window featured Slim Line 5 hardware, energy-efficient double glazing (4CT/4TP with a Ug-value of 1.2 W/m²K), and integrated grey trickle vents for improved airflow.

Additionally, we installed five larger aluminium windows, each consisting of three side-hung sashes and three top-hung sashes. These multi-sash window units were designed for rooms that require greater ventilation and light entry, maintaining a consistent finish and hardware setup throughout.

A standout feature of this project was the installation of a custom bay window, designed with a 148-degree angle. This bay element consisted of four side-hung windows and four top-hung sashes, offering expansive views and maximised daylight. It included 150mm drop nose cills and 20mm frame extenders to ensure a seamless fit and professional appearance.

To further complement the property’s elevation, we supplied two additional window units made up of four side-hung and four top-hung windows each. These windows matched the rest of the installation in colour, profile, and thermal performance.

Other window configurations included a combination of top-hung and fixed sash units, two units with frosted glazing (ideal for bathrooms or private areas), a window featuring three side-hung sashes, and a unique inward-opening tilt window. Each was finished in anthracite grey, with thermally efficient glazing and concealed drainage.

The final touch to this project was the installation of a secure, modern armoured safety door. This entrance door featured a side fixed-glass panel, finished in matching RAL 7016 matt black, and was fitted with a Golden Plus 15-point locking system for enhanced home security. The door incorporated a solid aluminium exterior panel with vertical detailing and a sleek interior panel for minimalist appeal. Door hardware included nickel-matt handles (inside and out), a panoramic eye viewer, and a secure black matte locking block. The side panel was fitted with frosted anti-vandal glazing, adding both privacy and style.
