UPVC DOUBLE GLAZED CASEMENT WINDOWS & DOOR REPLACEMENT & FITTING IN BELVEDERE, SOUTH-EAST LONDON
Our team carried out a full window and door installation at a residential home on Kingwood Avenue in Belvedere, South-East London, near Belvedere Station. The client opted for a high-performance Liniar Sculpt Casement Energy+ uPVC window and door system in a sleek Anthracite Grey grain finish. The project was carefully designed to improve thermal efficiency, security, and aesthetic appeal, while maintaining a cohesive visual flow across all elevations of the home.
The installation included two large casement window units, each featuring a combination of two side-hung windows, two top-hung windows, and two fixed glazing fields. These multi-panel windows were fabricated with 57mm thermally enhanced frames, 28mm sculptured glazing beads, and steel reinforcement, all glazed with 4-20-4 Low Iron Clear double glazing filled with argon gas and treated with softcoat low-e technology for increased insulation.
Two additional casement window units were installed with a configuration consisting of one fixed glazing panel and one top-hung sash, offering a clean and symmetrical design ideal for smaller rooms. These units also featured Shootbolt MK2 locking systems, standard friction stays, and night vents for controlled airflow, ensuring both security and ventilation.
