WHITE UPVC GEORGIAN WINDOWS INSTALLED AT LUCIA COFFEE SHOP, WOOD GREEN, NORTH LONDON
Our team had the privilege of enhancing the Lucia Coffee Shop building in Wood Green, North London where we completed the supply and installation of 12 uPVC Georgian-style windows in varying sizes, comprising four large, two medium and six smaller units.
Each window was fabricated using the LSW012 57mm Energy+ uPVC frame system for both the head and cill sections, with LSW021/022 67mm transoms and LS150 150mm projecting cills, all designed with concealed base drainage to preserve clean exterior lines. The profiles were finished in standard white, complemented by LSW041 28mm sculptured glazing beads and standard mitred joints for a traditional finish. Hardware included high-security MK2 shootbolt locking mechanisms, white uPVC casement handles, and side restrictor hinges to limit window opening for safety and ventilation control.
All units were double glazed using 4-20-4 Clear Low-E sealed units, incorporating 20mm black Thermo spacer bars with argon gas infill for improved thermal performance, achieving a low overall U-value in compliance with modern energy efficiency standards. Each glazed unit was enhanced with 18mm white Georgian bars, offering a decorative grid effect while maintaining the thermal break integrity.
This installation exemplifies our precision in delivering thermally efficient, secure and aesthetically aligned uPVC window systems tailored to both residential requirements and regulatory performance demands.
