REPLACEMENT OF DOORS & WINDOWS IN THE HOUSE OF GREEK AMBASSADOR

We were proud to deliver a full-scale glazing and joinery package for the prestigious residence of the Greek Ambassador at 51 Upper Brook Street, Mayfair, Central London. The project involved the supply and installation of high-performance aluminium windows, doors, and heavy-duty roof lights using the AluK GB 58BW / 58BD system in a white finish, with outstanding thermal values ranging from 2.01 to 2.32 W/m²K.

Installations included a variety of configurations such as side-hung, top-hung, and fixed windows, as well as outward-opening casement doors, all fitted with satin toughened glazing and precision-engineered hardware for enhanced security and performance.

Complementing the modern aluminium systems, we also carried out the replacement and repair of traditional timber windows and doors across multiple floors using Sapele African hardwood and North European Redwood, finished with factory spray paint and fitted with Georgian bars and Banham locks. Timber joinery elements included sash windows, casement windows, and bespoke wooden doors, all manufactured to match the historic character of the property while meeting current building regulations.

Three robust aluminium roof light units were also installed, incorporating laminated low-emission glass and satin-finish panels to maximise natural light and thermal efficiency.

This complex project, executed in coordination with the client’s requirements, reflects our capability to blend contemporary aluminium glazing solutions with traditional timber craftsmanship, delivering a refined, energy-efficient, and regulation-compliant result across a heritage property.
