DOUBLE-GLAZED UPVC BAY WINDOWS SUPPLIED & FITTED IN SHEAVESHILL AVENUE, BARNET, NORTH LONDON

At Sheaveshill Avenue, Barnet, North London, we carried out the supply and installation of two white uPVC bay windows, each designed with a 123-degree angle to suit the existing external structure of the property.

Each bay configuration comprised four window sections. The two side panels included outward-opening side-hung casement windows, positioned below top-hung windows to allow for controlled ventilation while maintaining security.

The central section consisted of four fixed field glazed units, offering unobstructed views and allowing maximum natural daylight into the rooms.

All windows were fabricated using high-performance uPVC profiles with 28mm double-glazed sealed units featuring clear low-emissivity glass and argon gas filling, enhancing thermal efficiency and reducing heat loss. The window system incorporated white internal cills, robust friction hinges, multi-point shootbolt locking mechanisms on all opening sashes, and trickle vents to meet ventilation requirements in accordance with current Building Regulations.

These bay windows not only improved the visual appearance of the property but also delivered modern standards of insulation, durability and security, while remaining low-maintenance and cost-effective for the homeowner.
