ALUMINIUM BAY & CASEMENT WINDOWS, ENTRANCE DOOR & JULIET BALCONY IN PALMERS GREEN
At a residential property on Princess Avenue in Palmers Green, North London, we successfully completed the supply and installation of high-performance aluminium glazing and entrance solutions, tailored to meet the client’s thermal, aesthetic, and structural requirements. The project featured a variety of premium aluminium systems, expertly fabricated and installed to deliver long-term durability and visual cohesion across the entire property.
The primary glazing system utilised was the Etem E45 thermally broken aluminium system, specified with a RAL white internal finish and a contemporary matt grey external finish on selected window units. A wide range of aluminium casement windows were installed in multiple configurations, including side-hung, top-hung, tilt and turn, and fixed fields, all fitted with Climaguard Solar Guardian low-emissivity double glazing, featuring 24mm thickness and an outstanding Ug-value of 1.0 W/m²K to maximise insulation and energy efficiency.
A key feature of this project was a white matt aluminium thermal entrance door, fabricated using the Elvial 4600 Opening Thermal Break System. This entrance door was fitted with a decorative Aluminco E740 panel, which included frosted glazing for privacy, enhanced by a clear perimeter stripe for a subtle design accent. The door was secured with a robust five-point locking mechanism and paired with a sleek aluminium handle set, combining strength with modern aesthetics.
The project also included a matching white aluminium thermally insulated fixed window, built with the Elvial 4600 system and fitted with 23mm double low-e toughened glazing, featuring 4mm toughened panes separated by argon gas-filled cavities. This unit included frosted glazing with a 7cm clear border, adding both privacy and style to the fixed installation.
Further external enhancements included the supply and installation of an anodised aluminium Juliet balcony railing system, offering safety without compromising light or openness. In addition, all window and door units were supplied with colour-matched cills, concealed hinges, slimline handles, and trickle vents, where necessary, to ensure ventilation, regulation compliance, and seamless integration with the building envelope.
This comprehensive installation reflects our capability to deliver custom aluminium window and door solutions that balance thermal performance, security, and modern design for residential applications in North London.
