ALUMINIUM BI-FOLDING DOOR, CASEMENT WINDOWS & DOOR INSTALLED IN CHINGFORD, NORTH LONDON
At Merryhill Close in Chingford, North London, we carried out a high-quality installation of premium aluminium and uPVC glazing systems. The project featured a three-panel aluminium bi-folding door finished in Traffic White gloss, using the UniFOLD open-out system with white internal and external handles, white non-locking T-handles, white hinges, and magnets. The configuration folds to the right and includes a 150mm drop nose cill, concealed drainage, and one 4000ea white trickle vent. The glazing installed was high-performance double glazed 4-20-4 clear toughened glass with argon gas and black thermobar spacers to achieve excellent thermal efficiency.
This installation showcases our expertise in combining advanced aluminium glazing systems with modern performance glass and discreet detailing to enhance the comfort, security, and visual appeal of the property.
We also supplied and fitted a white aluminium single door using the AluK 58BD system, designed with a half-glass and half-panel layout. The door includes white Tokyo quick-fit lever handles on both sides, two-part white hinges, and a Winkhaus locking system with a Euro-cylinder key-lock. Glazing for this door consisted of clear toughened safety glass with black thermobar and argon fill.
The casement window installed comprised a top-hung sash and two fixed fields within the AluK 58BW HI system, finished in Hipca White gloss. It features a white espag handle, offset locking, standard friction stays, and a concealed frame coupler. The glass used was energy-efficient 4-20-4 clear float sealed with black thermobar and argon gas. Additionally, a fixed aluminium window in matching white finish was installed using the same 58BW HI system with face drainage and concealed coupler. This window was also glazed with 4-20-4 clear float units offering excellent insulation.
