FROSTED ALUMINIUM WINDOWS & HIGH-SECURITY DOORS FITTED AT DORCHESTER AVENUE, ENFIELD IN NORTH LONDON
At 86 Dorchester Avenue in Enfield, North London, we successfully completed the supply and installation of a tailored aluminium glazing package designed to enhance both functionality and visual appeal.
The works included a total of four carefully manufactured products, starting with one aluminium casement window fabricated using the Elvial 2000 system (non-thermal break), finished in a modern matt RAL 7016. This window consisted of a side-hung sash paired with a tilt-turn sash opening inwards, and was fitted with 19mm frosted double glazing composed of 4mm, 10mm air gap, and 5mm glass. It featured high-quality locking handles, a trickle ventilation system, and a cill for effective water drainage.
The second item was an aluminium single entrance door, also produced from the Elvial 2000 profile, finished in matt RAL 7016, opening to the right. It was constructed with a vertical infill aluminium panel 100mm thick, equipped with a reliable three-point locking mechanism and completed with a cill.
We also installed one aluminium casement window consisting of two outward-opening side-hung windows, also using the Elvial 2000 system and matching glazing specifications, accompanied by trickle vents, secure locking hardware, and cill.
The final installation was an enhanced security entrance door using the Elvial 4600 system (non-thermal break), finished in dual colours with matt RAL 7016 externally and matt white internally. The door was fitted with an Aluset Inox 330 aluminium entrance panel and accompanied by two side fixed glass lights glazed in 28mm frosted laminated Low-E units composed of 4+4mm laminated, 15mm argon cavity, and 5mm frosted toughened glass. For added functionality and security, this door included a 1200mm stainless steel external handle, integrated mail slot, five-point locking system, and was installed complete with a cill.
This project delivered a cohesive and secure set of aluminium solutions, combining contemporary design with durable, high-performing materials suited to modern residential living.
