The project at Carbery Avenue near Ealing Common station, West London involved the design and installation of a bespoke internal fire rated metal door system, combining certified fire protection with a modern industrial style aesthetic which not only enhances safety but also creates an open plan feel between the hallway and living area.

The system features an internal fire retardant steel framed door and multiple fire resistant glass panels finished in RAL 9005 Matt Black, delivering a contemporary Crittall style appearance that complements modern interiors. The installation was carefully tailored to suit the angled ceiling line beneath the staircase, creating a striking internal glazed partition that separates spaces while maintaining light flow throughout the property.

The glazing specification includes 10mm clear fire resistant glass with a certified 30 minute fire resistance rating. These fire rated glass panels are designed to prevent the spread of flames and smoke while allowing natural light to pass between rooms.
